Huy? All such information must be somewhere in the CaveXML otherwise it
is
not part of the format. There is no such thing as 'after the data',
just more
data.

How the heck is someone going to specify any groupings if 'sets' of
shots
aren't 'groupable'.

Then once the user picks some groupings, without a CaveXML markup for
transmitting the groupings there is no way to transmit that groupings
to a friend.

What are thinking CaveXML is for just grabbing data into your software?
Come on, we want in and out. It is not just used at a particular phase
of data processing, it is for exchanging data.

I say groupings are required but only need to be rather degenerate,
because
all they are is names for some shots.
