Lechuguilla is the great example of hacks, to account for duplicate stations, duplicate
survey names, re-surveys, competing surveys, blunders, typos, lost notes, etc. Aside from
that, about 75 miles into the survey, the Park began requiring backsights from its
surveyors. At the time, the software didn't support backsights. This is a great example of
changes in field practices changing the software. It might work in reverse, but I really
think it takes a higher authority, like the Park service, to get a large group of people
to move as one.

Whole world, not ever in the US by itself. Convergence is a worthwhile goal I support.
