Andreas, here are some links for XML Tools section. Others may be interested in XML Tools
such as:

* Xeena - XML editor for Windows,Mac and Unix at http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/xeena
I have got this working OK on my Linux/Intel platform using the IBM's JRE Java. It
validates my XML example files with my DTD and clearly shows the few errors I have to fix
up. Seems quite OK. Bit slow to run though.

* Merlot - another XML Editor/viewer at http://www.merlotxml.org/
Its open source and there is a CVS tree you can download from or just pull down the binary
for either Windows or Unix (I presume Intel but they dont say). This uses SUNs Java.
I've downloaded this and trying to get this running soon with IBM's Java :-)
(Java - write once, run anywhere, maybe)

* MS Explorer, Mozilla/Netscape 6.0 and the latest Opera browser all have XML support to
varying degrees but they are not XML editors unlike the above.

XML Registry:
There is a registry of organisations creating XML languages at
http://www.xml.org/xmlorg_registry/index.shtml
Andreas, the UISIC should have an entry. I had a look at the sections and looked under
Science to see if we would fit in there. There is one already; my web pages! That was
added last year. Seems like Robin Cover at OASIS trolls the web for this stuff and adds
it. Might be an idea to get your page added under UISIC under Science? But there is also a
Geography section.

Mike
