I just finished a two day conference at Intel entitled, "XML Days." Intel takes XML quite
serisously, they even have deticated machines for processing XML content in business
transaction applications, e.g. inventory, price quotes.
One thing I took away was that DTD is being replaced by XSchema. I offer that we dispense
with talk of DTD's and concentrate on XSchema. XSchema instructs how the data should be
interpreted, double percison vs integer, elements of groups, defaults, etc.
