Dear All,
The CaveXML website has now been loaded with the new page for tracking Task
6.1: "Draw up survey and mapping data model(s)". This page also contains
all the draft entity definitions, and a link to the new diagram. You can
get to it by choosing "Current Task" from the navigation menu. The website
URL is as usual of course:

(Oh Dear! Have I just grabbed a tiger by the tail?)
Anyway, have a look at it and get back to me if there are any *general*
questions or suggestions at this point about the pages or the suggested
approach. Then next week I will start taking us through systematically
discussing it until we end up with a data model which hopefully we can all
agree on. ;-)
