Very picky. Didn't like comments and didn't like ENTITY.
One I found extremely useful is DTDExplorer available at http://www.mathweb.org/~paul/DTDexplorer/. Very
small (zipped 263K), uses Java 1.1.6 and up, and is pretty good on reporting errors. I used a command
window to run the program and another window with my favorite editor to bring my DTD up to speed. In a few
minutes, I had a much more valid DTD, found some logic errors, and added more functionality. Very fast, too,
much better than VisualXML.
